Northshore Nets owner, Kyle, has been wood working and fly fishing for over 15 years. Throughout the years of skating dries, skipping poppers, and swinging meaty flies, he found that the ‘off-the-shelf’ nets weren’t living up to his expectations of what a wood net should be. One day it hit him, “I can make this, and much better!” He will humbly admit, it wasn’t easy at first. The first attempt was hardly a net. The second, well, we just wont talk about that (what a mess). As they say, third time’s the charm. His first net finally started to take shape!

Fast-forward 3 years, through multiple revisions, and some positive feedback from friends, colleagues, and family, Northshore Nets was born!

At Northshore Nets, we pride ourselves on high-quality, hand-made nets built 100% in the USA. If time allows, we will build inventory to fill orders, but most are on a made-to-order basis. This way, we can guarantee the same lifelong quality in every net.
